The Sudburnia Soccer Club hosted the second of two playoff tournaments with the Under-18 teams competing this past weekend. In the end, Gatien Braithwaite captured the mixed division with a 4-3 decision over Apex Construction while Integrated Benefit Services took home gold in ladies play with a 5-3 win over National Car Rental.

In boys play, Justin Cooper paced the Gatien Braithwaite attack with a pair of goals while Luc Gatien and Thad Zegler chipped in with a goal apiece. Alex Kusinskis netted a couple of goals in a losing cause while the remaining Apex marker came from Emeka Kalu. Integrated Benefit received two-goal efforts from Amy Kallio and Gillian Scott and a single tally from Dana Falcioni in picking up the title in the eight team U-18 Girls Division.

Miranda Basso paced National Car Rental, scoring twice with Sarah Bouchard tallying once. The weekend post-season action leaves a handful of remaining regular season games on tap this week to close out the 2004 season for the area's largest soccer club.
