The fifth anniversary of the RAC Hockey Development Camp opened on Friday in Chelmsford, gathering together a wonderful cross-section of northern Ontario talent born in 2009 / 2010 / 2011.

While there is plenty on tap for the young athletes in terms of preparing them for junior hockey ranks, fans are most likely circling the three sets of games: Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. - and again from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - and Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

There is no admission fee to take in some free-wheeling hockey that offers young prospects from the Sudbury U16 AAA Wolves (Brayden/Chase Baronette, Jackson Mead, Nick Christakos and others), North Bay U16 AAA Trappers as well as Dacey Dupuis (Markham U16 AAA Majors) and several other standouts both a year younger and a year older than the OHL draft eligible lads.
