A 22-swimmer contingent representing the Sudbury Laurentian Swim Club (SLSC) made plenty of noise this past weekend at the 2025 Murray Drudge Invitational hosted at the Toronto Pam Am Sports Centre (TPASC).

Under the guidance of head coach Dean Henze, the local swim crew amassed a total of 25 medals, 57 appearances in finals and a whopping 129 new personal best times.

The SLSC team were led by the likes of Dax Hester (6 gold; 2 silver; 13-14 Boys High Point Award), Charlie Gatien (1 gold; 3 silver; 1 bronze) and Alexandre Landry (3 gold).

Also chipping in with the accumulation of hardware were Jayda Hartley (2 silver; 2 bronze), Noah McGregor (silver & bronze), Callum Duncan (2 bronze) and Ewan Duncan (bronze).

The Sudbury swimming powerhouse are right back at it this coming weekend, attending the Ontario Junior International (OJI) Swim Meet from December 11th to the 14th at the very same venue.
