Coach Trevor Blanchard and the U13 AAA Wolves enjoy a weekend on the road
2025-09-08

With a three-game exhibition set down south now out of the way, the Sudbury U13 AAA Wolves can set their sights on the opening of NOHL (Northern Ontario AAA Hockey League) play "NOHL Showcase Weekend" scheduled to take place September 18th to 20th in Sudbury.

Trevor Blanchard makes his return behind a local AAA bench after a one year hiatus, taking over a squad that returns no less than 12 players from the 2024-2025 U12 AAA Wolves.

Taking full advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a team building weekend, the Wolves posted a very respectable record of 1-1-1 on their recent trip south.

Goaltender Tate Cunningham is back to help lead the charge, with Trent Morris, Jase Halas, lacrosse sensation Kaesen Adair, Karson Ferguson, Maddox Matthews, Ben Sabourin, Carter Kuczma, Coltan Walker, Easton Bradley, Jack Stone and Jarrett Marshall all returning as well.

Cali Creary jumps aboard as the new partner between the pipes, joining the fresh faces of skaters Tyler Suomu, Zoltan Vukovic, Jordy Albert and Fisher Lemieux.

Following Showcase Weekend, the Wolves will continue with some league play before the Barrie Colts AAA Peewee Challenge Cup welcomes U12 and U13 entries to their event on October 17th (to the 19th).

Listed among the remaining 17 participating teams are the London Jr Knights, Pittsburgh Penguins Elite, Don Mills Flyers, Buffalo Regals and the Markham Waxers.
