The Sudbury U18 Shamrocks scaled almost the entire mountain at their end of June tournament, settling for second place and silver medals on the road.

After reeling off four straight wins, the Shamrocks dropped their championship affair, 13-12 to the West Mountain Cougars, with Christopher Kremastiotis earning game MVP honours for the second time on the weekend.

The locals looked sharp Friday evening, vanquishing the Thorold A's 14-6 (Game MVP - Hunter Levesque), picking up two more wins on Saturday over the Burlington Bears (13-2 - MVP - Cole Trottier) and the East Toronto Dodgers (9-4 - MVP - Christopher Kremastiotis).

The Sunday morning semi-final was no contest as the Shamrocks thumped the Whitby Canadians 17-2, with Christian Mallet earning the game accolades for the northern Ontario entry.

Rounding out the Sudbury U18 roster are Ashten Jolette, Keagan Violette-Mantysaari, Levi Yuskiw, Lucas Gutscher, Maxim Gilroy, Rylee Loyer and Thomas Arsenault.
