Wolves tap heavily into U.S. prospect pool

The takeaway from the 2025 OHL Entry Draft was clear and the Sudbury Wolves were not oblivious to it.
The change in the rules regarding movement between the CHL and NCAA that was announced this past winter opened the door to far more American prospects being selected than had ever been the case before.
Of the Wolves 16 total selections, eight are from south of the border, numbers that range on the high side in looking at the remaining 19 teams - but not wildly outside of the standard of five or six for most of the franchises.
With the top trio of forwards already noted in a previous story - Brayden Bennett, Vladimir Provorov, Parker Smith - following is a look at how the final 12 rounds played out for Sudbury GM Rob Papineau and company:
