Sooner or later, Sudbury U13 BB Lady Wolves goaltender Lexi Kissner is going to get scored on in tournament play.

It just wasn't going to happen at the 46th Annual Huntsville Girls Hockey Association tournament earlier this month.

With her team proving to be too much for the three southern Ontario adversaries to handle, Kissner would register four consecutive shutouts as the locals added a championship banner to the tournament they captured in Niagara Falls earlier this year.

Some depth to the Sudbury attack was showcased in a game one 4-0 win over the Guelph Jr Gryphons as the 10th ranked team in the province received tallies from Jordyn O'Coin, Tessa Marshall, Janelle Labrosse and Madison Mercer, with six different teammates recording one assist each.

Kissner remained flawless in game two as the U13BB Lady Wolves stopped the Mississauga Hurricanes (#28) 2-0 on goals from Tessa Marshall and Rocklyn Paquette, extending their winning streak to three with a 4-0 whitewashing of the Central York Panthers.

Brooklyn O'Coin joined Tessa Marshall, Janelle Labrosse and Rocklyn Paquette on the scoresheet as the northern girls prepared for a second encounter, in the final, opposite Guelph.

Labrosse netted her third and fourth goals of the weekend and Kissner capped off a memorable weekend as the Lady Wolves blanked the Hurricanes 3-0, with Rocklyn Paquette capping off the scoring for the gold medal winners.

Rounding out the 2024-2025 Sudbury U13 BB Lady Wolves roster are Jordan Corbiere, Breeze Osawamick, Chloe Labrosse, Aria Darwish, Averly Larche, Hannah White, Lucy Marsh, Gianna Lanteigne and Vivienne Michelutti.

Members of the team staff are: head coach Peter Michelutti Jr, assistant coaches Dan Paquette and Nicole Kissner, trainer Jeff Marsh, goalie coach Jordan Lanteigne and team manager Chris Marshall.
