The work of the Sudbury football community is being noticed on a provincial scale.

In unveiling their Road Map for the 2025 Futures Identification, High Performance Academy and Team Ontario Program, Football Ontario will host three sets of prospect camps across the province - including a visit to Sudbury.

The program, which is open to athletes at the U14 (2012/2013), U16 (2011/2011) and U18 (2008/2009) age groupings, will take place in Sudbury on Saturday, February 22nd (2025).

Players selected to Phase 2 of the three-part process (High Performance Academy) will have to travel to southern in mid-April, with the top 90 players assembling for Red-Black Weekend on May 3rd and 4th at the University of Waterloo.

Cost for the initial camp in February which is said to be taking place at the Lancer Dome is $79.99 - though early bird pricing of $69.99 remains in effect through until December31st, 2024.
