More than twenty different schools found their way in to top five placements earlier this month as the CSPGNO (Conseil Scolaire du Grand Nord) hosted the largest elementary cross-country gathering in the region at Kivi Park.

Some two thousand or so young athletes converged for a series of 12 races, with groupings ranging typically from one hundred to two hundred runners per event.
