The GSBA (Greater Sudbury Basketball Association) U13 Storm Boys covered a good chunk of the province in terms of their opponents at the recent Inter-City Saints Tournament in Brampton - and still managed to return home with silver medals.

The locals opened against the southwestern corner of Ontario, dumping the Chatham Wildcats 77-32 before moving across to face an adversary representing the Golden Horseshoe.

Again, Sudbury reigned supreme, this time by a final count of 80-36 versus the St Catharines Rebels.

Matching up against the host GTA crew, the team kept right on rolling along, improving to 3-0 thanks to a 60-46 victory over the Inter-City Saints and earning a spot in the championship encounter.

This time around, they would be testing themselves against a squad from the Lakelands Region, coming up just short after suffering a 60-53 loss to the Peterborough Power.

The 2023-2024 version of the Sudbury U13 Storm assmbles the talents of Eli Purdy, Drayden Musenga, Cedric Daoust, Desmond Barhydt, Isaiah Kamuntu, Carson Cook, Al-Amin Adeoti, Henry Welsh, Carter Larochelle, Landen Del Mastro, Ohm Patel and Tim Bourget under the direction of coaches Nelson Celtus (head coach) and Freeman Kamuntu (assistant coach).
