There was no denying the varied spectrum of sports at Laurentian University as Voyageurs Varsity Athletics were celebrated at the Year-End Banquet last night in Sudbury.

Curling, basketball, soccer and nordic ski all took turns in the spotlight as U Sports bronze medal winning skip Bella Lehtimaki Croisier and L.U. veteran Caillou Lacroix (men's basketball) were recognized as the Female and Male Athletes of the Year, respectively.

A standout in his freshman season on the soccer team, Jaiden Santo was selected as Male Rookie of the Year while nordic skier Margot West got the nod on the women’s side, celebrating a pair of top twenty finishes at the OUA Championships.
