The 2023 SDSSAA soccer season is off and running, with scores at both ends of the offensive spectrum just two days in.

The very first outing of the spring would see the Confederation Chargers and St Benedict Bears play to a traditional 1-1 draw as Max Aziz (Chargers - free kick) and Christian Thamby (Bears) traded tallies.

The Girls Open Premier game between the Lo-Ellen Park Knights and Lockerby Vikings will go down as a 1-0 forfeit in favour of the former as the Vikes apparently ran across some confusion on the scheduling side of things.

On Tuesday, it was anything but a traditional soccer score as the Lo-Ellen Park Knights' boys doubled the Lockerby Vikings 8-4, their offense led by a four goal effort from Maliq Olanrewaju.

Andre Sousa added a pair of strikes with Liam Conlin and Lucas Antonioni finding the back of the net once each with Callum Baron, Jack Anderson, Luca Graffi and Tristan M countering in a losing cause for Lockerby.
