Goals a little sparse for Boreal girls hockey team
2017-12-06
by Randy Pascal

Goal scoring proved more than a little problematic for the Collège Boréal Vipères extramural women’s hockey team, participating in the 2017-2018 Humber North Extramural Men’s & Women’s Hockey Tournament last month.

The local girls dropped their opening game, 7-0 to the Humber Hawks, but managed to hit the scoreboard in a game two 4-1 setback to the Lakeheard Thunderwolves.

Unfortunately, that was the one and only marker the team could muster as the University of Toronto Scarborough blanked the Vipères, also by a final count of 7-0. UTSC would move on to capture the tournament with a 6-5 overtime win over the University of Toronto Mississauga.

The Collège Boréal roster for the tournament included Maryse Pelletier, Maxime Demeules, Josée Emond, Mackenzie Gauthier, Charlyse Boudreau, Jessica Pellerin, Jessica Adamo, Jessie Turcotte, Channel Robert, Sara Poliquin, Brianne Berthiaume, Michelle Landry, Mélodie Ouellet, Alysha Goulet, Kendra Rioux and coaches Claudette Goulard and Caroline Boudreau.
