Healthy Kids Team Water Challenge this summer 2016-05-19 by Randy Pascal
Time for the Healthy Kids Community Challenge to reach out to the local amateur sports community.
The local group has organized a "Healthy Kids Water Challenge" in an effort to reduce the amount of "sugary drinks" consumed by young athletes
these days. Participating teams must agree to drink only water at their games and practices, as well as limiting after-game snacks to only fresh fruits
and vegetables.
In return, the Healthy Kids Community Challenge will provide each registered team with a large water cooler to bring to games, water bottles for each and
very player, as well as supplying a list of fun and tasty (and suitable) veggie and fruit snacks.
All teams that enroll will also be entered into a draw to enjoy a fun team pool party, courtesy of the event organizers. Teams looking for more
information, or interesting in enrolling should email "healthykids@greatersudbury.ca".
