Wolfpak ready to tackle Woodnewton
by Randy Pascal

The 2015 Scott Ontario Cup XC Mountain Bike Series launches another season of outstanding mountain bike racing, with the first event of the spring set for the Woodnewton Cycling Centre in Uxbridge this coming Sunday (May 3rd).

The local contingent will be on hand, looking to stretch out an already impressive streak. The Walden Mountain Bike Club's Wolfpak Racing/Inception Cyclery team have enjoyed at least one podium finish at every event the club has attended, dating back to 2010.

The Wolfpak are thrilled to welcome a pair of reinforcements, with Samantha Fuller and Katlyn Dundas joining the team in 2015. On April 18th, Dundas posted an impressive 42nd place finish at the prestigious Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California.

A little closer to home, Fuller was equally as busy, finishing second in her category at the annual Paris to Ancaster (P2P) Enduro 70 km race. The Wolfpak are looking at a full schedule of competitios, taking part in the Ontario Cup series, as well as Canada Cup meets in both Ontario and Quebec.

As well, some members are participating in several "enduro" events, races that extend quite a bit longer than the traditional courses. Anyone seeking more information on the Walden Mountain Bike Club is encouraged to contact Rob St Marseille at (705) 665-2089.
